Why We Built This Site
Idaho gives the public access to many court and government records, but the correct office depends on the record. Butte County trial-court case information is searched through the Idaho iCourt Portal, while records from a case may require a courthouse kiosk or a request to the court clerk at 326 W. Grand Avenue in Arco. The Butte County Clerk / Auditor / Recorder at 205 W. Grand Avenue handles county public records, recording, marriage-related county records, and county administrative records. Sheriff and jail questions route to 256 W. Grand Avenue, and prosecutor questions route to 221 W. Grand Avenue. The site brings those official routes into one county-focused reference.
What You Will Find Here

- Search walkthroughs: practical steps for iCourt Smart Search, hearing lookups, eligible traffic and criminal payments, and courthouse copy requests
- Public records help: how Idaho Court Administrative Rule 32 and the Idaho Public Records Act affect public access, sealed files, restricted records, and agency requests
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Idaho court, Butte County office, sheriff's office, prosecutor, clerk, or state agency. There are real limits to what a private reference site can do:
- We cannot file paperwork or send public-record requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document, recorder document, marriage record, divorce decree, or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific Idaho case applies to a specific person
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, address, court-counter hour, or web notice is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. Butte County court documents must come from the court, and county records must come from the office that holds them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing, manage their own databases, and run their own services. When a visitor uses one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. That revenue supports the site. We do not control what those tools charge, what they include, or whether their results match official Butte County, Idaho court or agency records.
